DECK
Forward
is the
command
bridge/pilothouse,
the
Captain’s
quarters
(berth,
shower
room
with WC,
separate
desk) to
port and
the
radio
room to
starboard.
A
Portuguese
bridge
extends
forward
and
alongside
the
pilothouse
and has
wing
controls.
There is
a
guest’s
flying
bridge
above
this
structure.
The Boat
Deck is
amidships
and
features
heavy
articulating
Schatt
electro
hydraulic
davits.
The port
davit is
used for
a Boston
Whaler
Outrage
centre
console
tender
with
twin
150hp
Johnson
outboards.
The
starboard
davit is
used for
a custom
made
aluminium
Bellecraft
catamaran
“landing
craft”
loading
2 Marine
Power
280S
water
jets
with a
dropping
ramp at
the bow.
Both
tenders
have
Standard
Horizon
VHF-FM
radio
telephones
and
depth
sounders.
Also
stored
are 2
Kawasaki
Jet
skis, 2

Aft of the
Boat Deck is
the teak
decked Sky
Bar and Sun
Deck. There
is an
elongated,
curved “L”
shaped
lounge seat
and a full
service bar,
both of
which are
housed in a
permanent
superstructure
with fixed
side windows
and forward
facing
opening
windshields.
There is a
removable
canvas back
curtain.
This
structure
provides
shelter to
those who
chose to sit
or stand
inside, and
a windbreak
for the Sun
Deck even
when
underway.
The Sun Deck
and Sky Bar
are the
obvious
gathering
places for
large or
small
parties in
good
weather. It
measures
about 31’ x
24’ plus a
4½’ deep
varnished
teak/cushioned
lounging aft
bench which
runs athwart
ships from
rail to
rail. There
are also
several
height
adjustable
varnished
teak coffee
tables and
deck chairs.
MAIN DECK
Furthest
forward is a
very large
crew mess
and lounge
with its own
entrainment
centre. Next
aft is the
galley to
port, built
to highest
quality
commercial
restaurant
standards,
complete
with all
stainless
counter
tops,
walk-in
freezer and
cold storage
room and
larder.
Opposite to
starboard is
a full
length
(inside) for
and aft
passageway
leading
first to the
mechanical
room access
door.
The owner’s
cabin which
runs athwart
ships is
approximately
amidships.
These
spacious
quarters
which have
large
windows on
the port
side,
include a
king size
bed, desk,
vanity,
wardrobe and
shower room.
Further down
the
passageway,
aft of the
owner’s
cabin, is a
stairway
down to the
lower
accommodation,
a
storage/utility
locker, day
WC and
ultimately
the main
saloon.
The 18½’ x
28’ Saloon
is decorated
in finely
finished
teak and a
blend of
European
hardwoods.
There are
attractively
upholstered
sofas and
chairs in
several
distinct and
separate
seating
areas for
games,
writing,
reading,
taking in a
movie or
just
relaxing.
There are
stereo and
video
systems
fitted in
the forward
bulkhead
flanked by
book cases
port and
starboard.
The Aft Deck
has the
principal
dining area
and has
rigid
transparent
panels above
the rails
which hinge
up in
inclement
weather. It
is both
heated and
air
conditioned.
Double
varnished
teak doors
lead forward
to the
saloon and
doors port
and
starboard
lead to the
full length
outside fore
and aft
covered side
decks. The
oval,
varnished
dining table
has two
additional
leaves
enabling up
to 14 to
sit.
LOWER DECK
Situated aft
is guest
accommodation
for up to 16
in 6
staterooms,
each with
ensuite
facilities,
accessed by
two
stairways.
The aft two
ensuite
staterooms
are full
width, one
with a Queen
size double
bed and the
other is
twin bedded
with side by
side beds.
These cabins
are access
by stairs
from the
saloon.
Forward of
these, at
the base of
the forward
stairs, are
two twin
bedded
cabins each
bed having a
Pullman
berth over.
Next forward
are two twin
bedded
cabins on
either side
of the
centreline
corridor
which leads
to the
forward
stairs.
Crew of up
to 14 is
accommodated
forward in 8
cabins.
